Agitating employee unions continue protest over transfer at DoHS

KATHMANDU, Nov 22: Five Government employees´ organizations have continued their protests by picketing and padlocking the Department of Health Services to show their reservation on the transfer of the employees of the technical class.



The employees´ organizations continued the protest on Thursday also after the employees´ talks with the talks team that included Dr. Pravin Mishra, Secretary at the Ministry of Health and Population failed to give positive outcome, said Chairman of the Nepal Health Workers´ Union, Bhawani Ghimire.[break]



The department had transferred the employees´ under the Department on November 12.



All Nepal Progressive Health Workers´ Association, Nepal Health Workers´ Association, Nepal Health Workers´ Union, and Nepal Health Technicians´ Association have been padlocking the department since then.



The representatives of the employees´ organizations are for continuing talks along with their protest program.
