141 houses facing landslide risk in Dolpa

DOLPA, April 19: More than 141 houses from Juphal VDC-6, 7 and 8 are facing high risk of landslide, according to a study.

An expert team come from Nepalgunj which also included Chief District Officer, and Local Development Officer visited the concerned settlements and found the imminent risk.


The land below the Juphal village has sunk and developed huge cracks, which is posing serious threat. So, it has been urgent need to relocate the settlement.

A local Purna Dangi said the villagers requested the team to help shift the village as soon as possible. RSS
