According to police, a motorcycle-borne gang of two people discriminately opened fires and shot dead Rajesh Sen.According to eyewitness, the assailants fired a total of four shots at him and fled toward west from the East-west highway.
Sen, who received bullets to his chest, breathed his last during the treatment at Lumbini Zonal Hospital.
Protesting over the incident, local have obstructed the East-West Highway. According to DSP Dilli Raj Bhatta, police have launched a manhunt to nab the culprit.
