YCL in-charge Tamang had allegedly beaten up Tamang accusing the latter of failing to show his driving license. According to police inspector Gobinda Singh Thakuri, the arrested Tamang has been sent to the District Police Office, Nuwakot, for necessary action.
NC´s Tamang has reaceived deep injuries on his head and bruises in several parts of the body. His right hand has also been fractured due to the beating. Youths belonging to the Tamang community in Deudi village in Kalyanpur VDC in Nuwakot district had protested the Maoist’s YCL move to check the driving license in Katoni-Samari road section of the highway in Nuwakot.
