Organizing a press conference in the capital on Saturday, Basnet informed that the association is scheduled to organize a second national cadres´ gathering on July 22-23, immediately after which it will be waging a massive movement against the Bhattarai-led government.

UML senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal will inaugurate the gathering. The upcoming gathering is slated to chalk out the YAN’s future plan of action in view of the transitioning political context and the party line.

Speaking at the press meet, Basnet stressed that the protest programs are the need of the hour to end the totalitarian rule in the country.
