Writ filed to stop PLA recruitment

KATHMANDU, March 5: Three lawyers associated with INHURED International have filed a writ petition in the Supreme Court demanding that the fresh recruitment process in the People´s Liberation Army (PLA) be stopped. The writ petition, filed on Thursday, states that the recruitment process violates the Comprehensive Peace Accord (CPA) signed between the government and the then Communist Party of Nepal (Maoist) in the past.
