Meera KC, 31 killed her husband Chetra Bahadur KC (Bikash), 35, unable to tolerate the mental, physical and sexual torture inflicted on her. [break]
The brother of the deceased Dhan Bahadur KC had filed a case against Meera. She pleaded guilty after surrendering to the police, informed Inspector Beni Silwal of District Police Office, Sindhupalchowk.
In her statement she said that she was driven to commit the crime after she being unable to bear the torture.
"On Friday night when he asked for alcohol, I mixed three tablets of medicine, made him unconscious and strangled him to death," Meera said. Police are further investigating the matter, informed Silwal.
