Police suspect that the woman might have set herself afire due to a family dispute. Her husband and other family members are on the run.
Meanwhile, another woman died during the course of treatment at District Hospital, Jaleshwar, Tuesday night.
Rukmani Devi Thakur (30), who had bruises all over her body, died 11 days after delivery.
She is the wife of Lalan Thakur of Bharmarapura VDC-3. Her husband and brother-in-law had allegedly beaten up her and evicted her from home.
Her newborn child is under the protection of Zonal Hospital, Janakpur.
Police said Lalan and his brother are absconding.
