Winter session of House concludes amid Maoists' boycott

KATHMANDU, June 3: The winter session of the Legislature Parliament has been prorogued amidst the Maoists’ boycott on Thursday.



Speaker Subash Nembang made the announcement after removing the scheduled business from the session.[break]



Meanwhile, the Maoists have decided to boycott the parliament session.



Addressing the parliament, Maoist leader Dev Gurung said that his party had decided to boycott the session over the misinterpretation and betrayal of the ruling allies on the implementation of the three-point agreement inked on Friday night.
