WHO provides equipments

KATHMANDU, March 22: The World Health Organization (WHO) handed over hospital equipments and training materials for nursing and midwifery worth around $350,000 to the Department of Health Services (DoHS) on Monday.



WHO Representative to Nepal Dr Alexander Andjaparidze handed over the materials to Dr Yashobardan Pradhan, Director General of the DoHS, amidst a program.



The donated equipment include ICU beds, ventilators and infusion pumps, Pradhan said. He said the equipment will be sent to the regional health offices in all five development regions.
