According to Rajendra Shrestha, a senior meteorologist at the Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD), the minimum temperature of the Kathmandu valley has gone down to -2 degrees Celsius in last 24 hours. [break]
According to MFD, the temperature has been recorded as – 1.5 degrees Celsius at 6 o’clock this morning.
On Tuesday, the valley temperature had plunged to -0.8 degree Celsius. The minimum temperature had reached below the freezing point for the first time on Monday morning. According to MFD, it was recorded -0.2 degree Celsius on Monday.
