The decisions to resolves the disputes in the districts by a committee led by party vice president Prakash Man Singh became disputed themselves not only in the districts but also in the party central committee.
The party then formed another committee led by party spokesperson Arjun Narsingh KC last week in a bid to solve the disputes in the district. But the committee itself has not got a full shape yet.
KC said the party has been making serious preparations for the convention and said that the dispute over active membership is being resolved.
“There is complains from one or two friends but we will settle it in the next central committee meeting and set elections in district, municipalities and constituencies soon,” he said.
NC chief office secretary Ram Chandra Pokharel said the next central committee meeting will give full shape to the committee formed to resolve the disputes. He said disputes in most of the districts have been resolved and the disputes in the remaining one or two districts will be settled soon.
The party has disputes over active membership in eight districts and the dispute is big in Okhaldhunga and Solukhumbu.
