Making a telephonic conversation to PM Koirala this evening, the UN Under Secretary-General said it would to be a milestone in framing a Federal Democratic Republic Constitution of Nepal.
In response, PM Koirala thanked Feltman for his remarks and also extended gratefulness to UN Secretary-General Ban-Ki moon for his statement welcoming the fresh deal in the making of new constitution in Nepal.
During the conversation, PM Koirala said that the 16-point agreement has made a breakthrough in the drafting of a new constitution in Nepal. He also said that they have put their all-out efforts for delivering the constitution and wished to bring all sides together to that end.
The Prime Minister further said that they wished to bring Nepal to the path of development after establishing peace, stability and democratic system by concluding the current peace building and constitution drafting process.
On the occasion, PM Koirala also lauded the support provided by the United Nations in the relief and rehabilitation of the Nepali people affected by recent earthquake.
PM Koirala also said that they are awaiting the presence of UN Secretary-General Ban to the Nepal Donors Conference stated for April 25 for the rehabilitation and reconstruction of the devastated structures ravaged by the earthquake.
