KATHMANDU, Feb 19: The CPN-UML has made public its manifesto for the upcoming House of Representatives election. Addressing the debate program titled “Nation First,” organized by the party’s Central Election Mobilization Committee and based on the manifesto, party chair KP Sharma Oli unveiled commitments along with specific targets.
With the slogan “Prosperous Nepal, Happy Nepali: Our Destination is National Aspiration,” UML has emphasized that voters must elect the party to fulfill this goal. The party has prioritized good governance, development, employment, and social justice—areas it had initiated but could not complete during its previous tenure in government.

He clarified that UML has always remained firm in defending sovereignty and nationalism, adding that the party would not focus on populism or political stunts.
