KATHMANDU, Nov 25: CPN-UML leader KP Sharma Oli, who had gone to New Delhi for treatment, returned home on Monday. Oli was flown to the Indian capital on November 5 in an air ambulance after a preliminary treatment at Norvic International Hospital, Thapathali.

Though he was discharged 10 days ago, Oli had stayed in Delhi for follow up. He was admitted to the Norvic Hospital after he complained of chest pain about a month ago. [break]

Earlier, Oli had fallen ill during his visit to the US and was admitted to a New York-based hospital. Talking to media persons at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), Oli thanked all those who expressed concerns about his health.

In his first political statement after his return, Oli lauded the move taken by President Ram Baran Yadav.

"The parties should now find a way out within the stipulated deadline," he said.
