UML Chief Khanal stresses national consensus govt

KATHMANDU, May 15: Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Marxist-Leninist) Chairman Jhala Nath Khanal on Friday said the act of forming the government through mathematical calculation may create difficulty in drafting a new constitution.

Speaking at a program organized by UML student body the All Nepal National Free Students Union (ANNFSU), Khanal stressed the need to form a national consensus government.


The UML Chairman has pushed for a national consensus government at a time the party has already announced its senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal as a Prime Ministerial candidate for a majoritarian government.
