U-19 cricket team to play 5 matches in India

KATHMANDU, Sept 28: The Nepali U-19 cricket team, which is in New Delhi, India, will play practice matches against four different local clubs.

With the aim of getting best platform to prepare for the ICC U-19 World Cup Qualifiers scheduled to be held in Malaysia from October 15 to 22, the team left for New Delhi on Saturday and will play its first practice match against Vijay Dahiya Cricket Academy's U-19 team on Tuesday.

It will play the second match against the same team on Wednesday at the St Stephan Cricket Ground.

Nepali youth team is also slated to play against the U-19 team of LB Shastri Cricket Club at the Bharat Nagar Cricket Academy on October 3 and against RP Cricket Academy at the RP Cricket Academy Ground on October 7 and against Nazafgarh Cricket Academy at the latter's ground on October 9.

The team will return Nepal on October 10, according to Cricket Association of Nepal.
