The deceased were identified as Assistant Health Workers at the District Public Health Office, Jhapa, Shashidhar Shiwakoti and Yekraj Bhandari.
The tragic accident took place when a bus (Ko 1 Kha 2680) hit a motorbike (Me 3 Pa 454) they were riding at 4.00 pm on Monday, police confirmed.
Seriously injured Bhandari breathed his last at Lifeline Hospital in Damak and Shiwakoti died while undergoing treatment at Neuro Hospital, Biratnagar.
The accident occurred when they were returning home after administering Rubella-Measles vaccination.
