Driver Santosh Nepali, 32, and his help Prakash Nepali, 22, were injured. The driver and the help are also from Rupandehi. The injured are receiving treatment at Mission Hospital, Tansen.
Lightning kills one, injures four
UDAYPUR: An elderly woman died while three were injured after lightening struck two different places of the district Wednesday morning. The thunderbolts also damaged two houses. The deceased has been identified as Tulasi Devi Bastola, 80, of Rampur Thokshila-7, according to Area Police Office, Rampur.
Devi Adhikari, 55, who was accompanying Bastola, has been seriously injured. She is receiving treatment at a health center in Rampur. Bastola was waiting for a bus at a local bus stand to travel to Kathmandu when lightening struck, according to her neighbor Jay Limbu. Similarly, another thunderbolt damaged the houses of Chemaya Tamang and Tikamaya Tamang at Katari-8, apart from injuring three, according to Area Police Office, Katari.
