JUMLA, Feb 5: Two children died in a fire incident in Khatyad Rural Municipality-2 Gadekhola Tol of Mugu.
According to the District Police Office, Mugu, two children died when a fire broke out in the house of three brothers of Gadekhola Tol around 1 AM on Sunday.
CIB starts probe into Mugu incident
The deceased have been identified as Lalu Sanjyal's 14-year-old son Bishal Sanjyal and 12-year-old daughter Jharana Sanjyal, according to DSP Birendra Thapa at District Police Office, Mugu.
Thapa said that the houses of three brothers Lalu Sanjyal, Nardeep Sanjyal and Deep Raj Sanjyal were completely destroyed by fire.

Security personnel from the Area Police Office, Ratapani and Srikot police outposts had reached the incident site and took out the body of the deceased.
Due to the fire, all the cash, clothes and other belongings in the house were burnt. Nivendra Buda, in-charge of the Ratapani Area Police Office, said that the exact details of the damage caused by the fire are being ascertained.
