While Tika Bahadur Khadka, 50, was found dead, another security guard Bam Bahadur Gurung, 44, who was lying unconscious, breathed his last while being rushed to hospital for treatment.
The dead bodies have been sent to Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital for postmortem.
Police suspect they died due to food poisoning.
“However, it would be too early to reach a conclusion before we receive the postmortem report,” a police official added.
