KATHMANDU, March 16: Hundreds of patients suffered as doctors´ indefinite strike at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital (TUTH) continued Tuesday as well.

Doctors have halted all but emergency services since Monday supporting agitating students demanding the resignation of the dean of the Institute of Medicine (IoM), Dr Arun Sayami.

Students who boycotted entrance exams held on Saturday and Sunday for postgraduate studies in medicine have accused Dr Sayami of leaking questions.

On Tuesday, students, teachers and doctors met Tribhuvan University´s Vice Chancellor Madhav Sharma to press their demands.
