Tuladhar assumes office as Local Development Minister

LALITPUR, March 21: Newly appointed Local Development Minister Ganga Lal Tuladhar took charge at the Ministry at Pulchowk on Monday evening. Tuladhar is also the Education Minister in the present government.



Prior to assuming the office, Tuladhar was welcomed by the ministry officials and chiefs of its subordinate departments.[break]



On the occasion, Tuladhar directed the employees to carry out the administrative activities in a prompt and transparent manner.



The new local development minister also pledged to introduce pro-people projects by ending the existing vacuum in the local bodies soon.



Minister Tuladhar assumed office by signing on a file related to the registration of personal details in the English language as his first official work at the Ministry. Prior to this, details of a person were registered only in the Nepali language.
