KATHMANDU, Nov 22: The third round of talks held between Tribhuvan University (TU) officials and student union leaders on Sunday failed to reach any conclusion. They, however, agreed to continue talks on Monday.

According to Nepal Student Union President Pradip Poudyal, the talks are heading nowhere because both parties continue to stick to their guns.

Students insist on discussing a new tuition fee structure only after rolling back the TU´s previous decision. On the other hand, TU is trying to persuade the students to agree to the TU´s fee hike decision, by making some changes to it.
