Fresh Master's degree holders are eligible to apply for the posts, according to the university. The university had not published vacancies through open competition as more than 1300 temporary teachers of the university had been demanding that they be made permanent.
The university wants lecturers in Nepali, English, History, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics among other subjects.

Likewise, teachers have been sought for technical subjects such as soil science, agriculture and veterinary science. The university has also opened 55 teachers vacancies under "special internal" category for temporary teachers.
