The decision was made after Chyasal filed a protest against Trinity for fielded Santosh Shrestha who had already played from Khumaltar Club in the Red Bull C Division League earlier this season. Following investigation by ANFA it was proved that Shrestha was indeed registered with Khumaltar.[break]
According to the tournament regulation, player registered with one club cannot play from another unless he is released and gets transferred while the transfer window opens.
According to a release issued by ANFA, Chyasal was declared winner by three-goal margin and awarded three points while Trinity was slapped with a fine of Rs 5,000. Similarly, Shrestha has been imposed a three-months ban from all official tournament conducted by ANFA.
Following the decision, Trinity dropped to bottom of the table remaining pointless while Chyasal moved up to sixth place with three points.
MYA ends Birgunj´s winning run
Madhyapur Youth Association (MYA) on Saturday gave continuity to its cent percent winning record with a 1-0 win over Birgun Youth Club. The defeat broke Birgunj´s winning run at the Buddhibikas Ground, Lagankhel.
Sujan Pradhananga scored the lone goal of match for MYA in the 55th minute to send his team level with Sankata on 9-points. However, MYA will remain on second place behind Sankata on goal difference. Both MYA and Sankata have plus five goals after the completion of third round but Sankata has scored one more goal. Birgunj remained unchanged in third place with six points.
In another match, Shree Laligurans Pulchowk Sports Club shared points against Kasturi Yuva Club of Siraha playing a goalless draw. Both Pulchowk and Kasturi remained steady in the fourth and fifth places respectively with four points apiece. Both of them have one win, draw and defeat each.
