The five films selected, all award winners at various festivals around the world, are to be screened at the Sterling Club, every Friday at 7pm till March 2 .
Every year after the main festival is held (the 9th edition of KIMFF which was held from December 8 -12 being the last one) a package of selected films is taken around the country.

Pointing out the idea behind Traveling KIMFF Basanta Thapa, the chair of KIMFF said, “This is our effort to give the audiences outside Kathmandu an opportunity to watch world cinema.”
The Travelling Kimff this year kicked off from Sikles, a mountain village where film screenings were held on January 15 and 16.
Thapa hoped for long term collaboration between the festival and the club. “We look forward to many such events,” he said.
