DHANGADI, Feb 12: Transport entrepreneurs in Dhangadi have been staging a sit-in in front of the main gate of Seti zonal transport management office.

They have demanded that the government issue route permits to the new buses and lift the restrictions imposed by transport syndicates operating buses in the Far Western Region.[break]

The entrepreneurs have also claimed that the police used force in their protest program on Friday.

“It´s been three months the committee has purchased 30 buses but we have not been given the route permit,” said Ganesh Raj Oli, general secretary of the committee.

Currently there are 30 buses at the committee which are waiting to get the route permit.
