KATHMANDU, Aug 26: The top leaders of the major political parties have decided to hold a meeting with the agitating Madhesi Front and Tharuhat/Tharuwan Joint Struggle Committee.

A meeting of the top-notch leaders of the major parties held in the Constituent Assembly hall on Wednesday came up with such decision.

"In the meeting the leaders have reached consensus to hold talks with the agitating parties through Prime Minister Sushil Koirala at the soonest possible," UCPN (Maoist) senior leader Baburam Bhattarai tweeted. "All sides should seek solution through talks."

The top leaders will hold a meeting in the evening today to dwell on this issue, said UCPN (Maoist) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal's personal secretary Chudamani Khadka, who is also a party central member.
