Three mountaineers missing

KATHMANDU, Oct 21: Three members of ´Park´s Annapurna´ expedition of South Korea, who had gone to climb Mt. Annapurna I, have gone missing from October 18.



The missing are team leader Young Seok Park, 48, Ki Seok Kang, 38, and Dongmin Shin, 37. [break]



According to the Mountaineering Section at the Ministry of Tourism and Civil Aviation, the team comprising of seven members had got permission to climb 8091 m high Mt. Annapurna I from south face route for the period of 75 days from October 2.



It is informed that search for the missing is underway.
