In Chitwan, two persons died and six others were seriously injured in four accidents.
An unidentified 27-year-old male passenger died on the spot when a tanker (Na 2 Kha 4974) collided with a truck (Na 2 Kha 6474) at 1 a.m. Three others - truck driver Ram Chandra Khadka of Bhaktapur, tanker driver Kamal Karki of Kaski and Manoj Thapa of Nagdhunga – were injured, according to the District Police Office.
Similarly, Dev Nath Mahato, 40, of Padampur died when at tractor hit him at Sauraha on Monday night. Mahato breathed his last on the way to hospital.
Likewise, Baliram Chaudhary, 35, of Rupandehi died and three others were injured when a private van (Lu 1 Cha 3291) fell 100 meters off the road at Deurali along the Tansen-Tamghas road.
Chaudhary died on the way to hospital.
Those injured are driver Lal Mohan Chaudhary, Kishan Chaudhary and Sitaram Chaudhary. They are being treated at the Mission Hospital in Tansen.
