The deceased have been identified as Padam Airi, 13, Suresh Airi and Lokendra Chanda, 14 of Krishnapur, Banka, according to the Area Police Office, Jhalari.[break]
Gopal Thapa of Banka was seriously injured in the accident. The accident took place when a bus (Se 1 Pa 4868) coming from Kailai district carrying a marriage procession hit the motorcycle.
Critically injured Thapa is undergoing treatment at Sewa Nursing Home, Attariya.
Locals have been obstructing transport services by putting the dead body on Banahara area road demanding compensation. Dozens of vehicles have been stranded on the road.
