Thapa, Khadka get CG scholarship

KATHMANDU, Aug 19: As part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activity, Chaudhary Group (CG) gave away cash prizes to the SLC topper and Grade 5 topper among the community schools of Sainbu VDC under Gyan Udaya Chhatrabriti.



According to a press statement issued, Salim Thapa of Adarsha Soul Higher Secondary School received Rs 10,000 and certificate for being SLC topper and Smriti Khadka received Rs 5,000 and certificate for being Grade 5 topper from the VDC. CG started the scholarship named Gyan Udaya Chhatrabriti in 2008 and since then it has been providing scholarship to two toppers from community school every year.
