So far, it is the ever first incident in Nepal to impose penalty to teacher for allegedly beating students.
Teacher Poudel was absconding after ruthlessly beating up four girl students of grade 6 on August 13.
He had later come in contact with school after the meeting took decision to put forward a process to take action against him through District Education Office if he did not attend school within five days, said school headmaster Purna Prasad Adhikari.
It was decided to deposit the amount received from the teacher to the revolving fund of the school, said Cheeja Kunwar, a local guardian.
