"The meeting was held mainly to dispel the crisis of confidence that exists among parties. Things moved positively in that direction," said Nepali Congress (NC) leader Ram Chandra Paudel. Paudel said the members agreed to sit for another round of talks after doing necessary home works within their respective parties. "The members agreed to take the ongoing peace process to an irreversible point at the earliest," he said.

The meeting was attended by all three task force members including Maoist Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Senior Leader of CPN-UML Madhav Kumar Nepal and NC Vice-president Paudel.

Talking to media persons after the meeting, UML leader Nepal said the meeting helped to create an environment of confidence for the next meeting. He said they will hold another round of meeting soon as they decided to cut short the Monday´s meeting due to poor health condition of Paudel and Maoist Chairman Dahal´s busy schedule.
