Tarun Dal memo against killings

ILAM, Dec 28: Nepali Congress-affiliated Nepal Tarun Dal (NTD) on Monday send a memorandum to Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal demanding action against those involved in killing its cadres.



The NTD Taplejung district chapter sent the memorandum to the prime minister through Chief District Officer Sudarshan Prasad Dhakal demanding action against the killing of Chandra Prakash Hangam and Birkha Phago.



While Hangam was shot dead two months back in Godak in Illam, Phago was killed one year ago. Nepali Congress has alleged that Maoists cadres were behind both the killings.



Among others, the NTD has demanded compensation to the victim families.
