Tanahun schools padlocked

TANAHUN, April 19: The Maoist student wing, All Nepal National Independent Students´ Union-Revolutionary (ANNISU-R), on Monday padlocked all private schools in Tanahun districts.



The union said it padlocked the account sections of the schools as they hiked fees by around 20 to 50 percent. Student enrollment process has been affected by the padlocking.



The union has demanded that the schools roll back their decision to hike the fees as soon as possible.
