In the men´s 52 kg category, Rajkumar Lama of Meghdoot Club, Sudesh Manandhar of Nepal Police Club (NPC) and Subash BK of Tribhuvan Army Club won their respective matches to secure semifinal berths.
Likewise, Om Bahadur Pun of Army and Mahesh Ale of Sunsari also emerged victorious in their matches in the men´s 56 kg category.
In the men´s 64 kg section, Bikash Lama of APF, Ramit Neupane of Chapali, Bhupendra Thapa of NPC, Tek Bahadur Ghale of Army and Dinesh Chand of Kanchanpur won their respective matches.
Other boxers to win their matches on Thursday were Prem Bahadur Subedi of Sirutar, Krishna Chandra Sherstha of APF, Dinesh Shrestha of NPC, Arjun Basnet of APF, Gopal Sunuwar of Army, Durga Chaudhary of Kapilvastu and Rahul Pradhan of Ilam in the men´s 60 kg category.
Meanwhile, Dhanraj Mahato of Army, Sanjay Bhujel of Kathmandu, Resham Bahadur Shahi of Army and APF duo Asha Tamang and Bikram Pariyar notched up victories in the men´s 49 kg category.
