BK was arrested from a guesthouse at Sundhara in Kathmandu. BK had been at large after he allegedly shot dead Thaiba on March 29 last year.
The CPN-UML had pinpointed BK as the killer of Thaiba and also accused the Maoists of deliberately letting him abscond. The Maoists, despite denying the charge at first, had admitted to BK´s involvement in the murder.
