Gurung got injured after he collide with an opponent player in the second half. "The doctor has suggested me to take rest at-least for two weeks," Gurung said to the Republica.
Gurung is also listed in 27 players undergoing close camp training for the AFC Challenge Cup qualifiers from the Nepali national squad. "I will return Shillong after playing the Challenge Cup qualifiers as the club has given leave for more than a month."
Another I-League player Rohit Chand who is playing professional football from Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) is yet to return home for Challenge Cup which is scheduled to begin from April 7.
