Statute's draft should be promulgated within Aug 31: Minister

DOLAKHA, Aug 10: Minister for Health and Population Lokendra Bista Magar said the preliminary draft of the statute should be promulgated within August 14 whether the current government remains or not.



It is all political parties´ duty to promulgate the preliminary draft of the statute forwarding the peace process in the slated timeframe and the senior leaders of the parties should work being responsible, said Minister Bista.[break]



Talking to the media persons in Charikot of Dolakha district on Wednesday, Minister Bista said the senior leaders should have initiation for peace, statute, and national consensus government immediately.



He said the Prime Minister Jhala Nath Khanal should not resign immediately for environment for the national consensus government has not been forged yet. He said if he resigns right now the nation will face further political impasse.
