Fast bowler Nuwan Pradeep, who missed the second test through injury, returns to replace Dushmantha Chameera.
India brought in Cheteshwar Pujara to replace opener Murali Vijay, and wicketkeeper Naman Ojha makes his debut in place of Wriddhiman Saha. Both Vijay and Saha are injured.
