KATHMANDU, April 24 : Narayan Parishrami, acting chairperson of the United National Landless Squatters Front, has been arrested by police.
According to the Kathmandu District Police Office, Parishrami was taken into custody on Friday morning.

Authorities also stated that Parishrami had previously attacked police with a petrol bomb during an attempt by the Kathmandu Metropolitan City to clear a squatter settlement in Thapathali. He had been arrested in connection with that incident as well.
