The selection held on November 27 from Trishuli to Kakani has picked up three male players -- Narayan Gopal Maharjan, Ajay Pandit Chhetri and Rajkumar Shrestha -- and Nirjala Shrestha as the female player. [break]
Three other male players -- Padam, Rajeev Rai and Mangal Lama -- were disqualified during the selection tournament. But according to Sanbenhang, the association later called and included Mangal in training for the SAG.
Coach Ajay Narshingh Rana denies that. “Mangal had better timing than the other two despite being disqualified, so he was called for the SAG training.”
