According to the American Cricket Association, the team will arrive in Kathmandu on Valentine´s Day (February 14) from Dubai. Prior to its arrival in Nepal, the team will participate in the ICC World Cricket Twenty-20 qualifiers in Dubai. America made public the list of 15 cricketers for both the events on Monday.
The United States had requested the Cricket Association of Nepal last month to make arrangements for practice match before the Division-5 league.
Sahara Club´s appeal
POKHARA, Jan 5: Sahara Club has urged the concerned bodies not to announce general strikes or protest programs during the Eighth Aaha Gold Cup Football to be held at the Pokhara Stadium from January 26 to February 6.
Issuing a press release on Tuesday, it also urged the groups to help make the event successful "as it is a matter of the nation´s prestige".
