The CIAA had arrested Shah and Yadav on May 5 to investigate into charges against them shortly after the Kathmandu District Court released them on bail.

The anti-graft body has accused the lawmakers of selling their passports and has sought a fine of Rs 16.2 million each.

The Special Court also decided to release Bhuminanda Bhandari, an immigration official at the Tribhuvan International Airport, on a bail of Rs 1 million.
