Special Committee seeks plan of action

KATHMANDU, June 5: The Special Committee on Sunday directed its secretariat to prepare a time-bound plan of action for integration and rehabilitation of ex-Maoist combatants and present before its meeting scheduled for Monday.



"We will present a time-bound plan tomorrow," said Balananda Sharma, convener of the secretariat, "As we have only two and half months left (for the expiry of the CA)". [break]



The Special Committee was supposed to discuss the plan of action for integration and rehabilitation on Sunday. Instead, it is taking up the issue on Monday.



Coming out of the brief meeting of the Special Committee, Prime Minister Jhalanath Khanal expressed hope that the plan of action will get a final shape soon.
