Speaking at an interaction organized in the capital on Monday, the leaders, however, said the parties or groups disrupting the voter registration cannot do so, if the parties are seeking a change.[break]
According to the leaders, the people can be vigilant to check the possibility of acquisition of citizenship by non-Nepalis. The political parties are in need of launching a program to inspire voters for their participation in the election, they added.
Moreover, the speakers said election has been both necessity and campaign at present.
They also said election cannot be obstructed merely on any party´s threat of obstruction.
The leaders to express views were Agni Sapkota of the UCPN-Maoist, Deep Kumar Upadhyaya of Nepali Congress, Raghu Ji Pant of CPN-UML, Jitendra Sonal of Tarai Madhes Loktrantrik Party and Sharat Singh Bhandari of the Rastriya Madhes Samajbadi Party.
