Six hurt in Kapilvastu clash

KATHMANDU, April 16: At least six persons were injured when cadres of two political parties clashed during Deputy Prime Minister Bijay Kumar Gachchhadar´s visit to Kapilvastu on Friday.



The ugly scene began after the cadres of Madhesi People´s Rights Forum (Democratic) pelted stones on Maoist cadres who waved black flags to Gachchhadar. Police intervened to take control the situation.



Gachchhadar arrived in Kapilvastu to inaugurate the General Assembly of Tharu Non-Governmental Organizations´ Federation.
