They staged the sit-in for an hour from 12:00 noon after they did not get opportunity to go to Korea so far as they passed the examination conducted in 2010.[break]
South Korea demands Nepali workers every year for the employment in Korea by running examinations through employment permission system.
Coordinator of the sit-in programme, Toya Giri, said out of around 350 women who passed the examination, 300 women have not got opportunity to go to Korea while all male workers have already gone to Korea.
She also urged to take initiatives to resolve problems by holding discussion between officials of Labour Ministries of the two countries.
